LYMPH NODES: COMPARATIVE ANATOMY AND MORPHOGENESIS IN A PHYLOONTOGENETIC ASPECT

Abstract

Background. Lymph nodes play an important role in the life of humans and animals. Widespread animal experiments, although not always known features of their structure was normal. A study was carried out to compare cranial mesenteric lymph nodes in rodents and humans and to determine the value of the mechanism of "crushing" the General bookmarks of lymph nodes in the morphogenesis of definitive lymph nodes.
Materials and methods. Embryos and fetuses of human and white rats, white rats of the first 5 months after birth, guinea pigs of 2-3 months and degu of 3 months were studied. Different methods of investigation, including dissection and colored histological sections, were used.
Results. It was found that the morphogenesis of lymph nodes is determined by the interactions of organs. Among the visceral lymph nodes of the abdominal cavity, the most numerous and variable are cranial mesenteric. Their number does not necessarily
correspond to the size of the body of the animal and its internal organs, which are a source of strong antigenic stimulation. In a number of rodents of comparable body size and lifestyle animals, the number of cranial mesenteric lymph nodes is increasing as the "roughness" of food consumed and the duration of its stay in the cecum.
Conclusions. The results obtained show that in the mechanics of morphogenesis of cranial mesenteric lymph nodes the key position is occupied by the liver, colon and cecum. "Fragmentation" is characteristic of the development of an extended Central cranial (upper) mesenteric lymph nodes of human and rat bookmarks. The intended application areas of the material are lymphology and immunology.
